In 1957 the company Brambilla carried out its first operation in China. It successfully took part in the development of a compensation exchange where French locomotives and trucks were sold in China in exchange for Chinese goods.

At that moment, Brambilla found its mission: help Western companies to enter the Chinese market and to help them solve the most difficult problems they may encounter.

This mission has ever since never been abandoned.

Brambilla was one of the first French companies to open a representative office in Beijing and to open offices in various Chinese provinces. Mr. André Dassori, Brambilla’s chairman, is also one of the founders of the France-China Committee for which he was the Vice-President until 1993.

In the 1970s Brambilla started an Export Agency service.

In 1988 AEC is founded from Brambilla’s export agency and managed by 2 associates: Mr. André Chieng, AEC Chairman, and Mr. Bertrand Cristau, AEC General Manager. AEC is supported by two groups: CIPAR and CIFAL.
AEC’s share capital is thus composed as follows:

In the 1990s AEC started its consulting service and has helped many European companies to establish JV or WOFE in China.
